Time to Rest!

After such a crazy weekend it was time to relax!

New Life in the Church!

After our busy day on Saturday, we got to watch as Emmett (reference post from Monday, September 6, 2010) was baptized after Mass at Sacred Heart in Sabetha.  It was my first baptism in the Catholic church that I got to see!  It's such a great experience to welcome another soul into the church!  Congrats to Mom (Beth), Dad (Chris), and big brothers Noah and Benjamin!!

Busy Busy Busy!!!

I feel like I never post on here, so this one is going to be jam-packed!!


As you know we had family day in Manhattan this weekend.  Stacey (Mom), Eric, Brittny, Cassie, and yours truly headed down to Manhattan bright and early Saturday morning.  We arrived to an awake, but in a slightly "vegetative state," brother Reese.  Once we got going a little, though he perked right up!  As part of the deal, I was not allowed to bring my camera to the actual tailgate, but that did not stop me from snapping away before and after!!  Luckily for us we had previously decided to skip the game...it ended up being delayed for over an hour and a half because of storming!!  However, since after the tailgate I was allowed to resume snapping, I got some great shots of the storm from the restaurant parking lot!!

Welcome, Baby Emmett!

Friday, two of Joe & I's best friends became parents again to Emmett Joseph Kroll!  Welcoming him home were his two big brothers Noah and Benjamin.  They are already such great big brothers!!!  I went and saw them (with my camera in tow) yesterday afternoon...I JUST LOVE BABIES!!! 

Congrats Chris, Beth, Noah, and Benjamin!!  Look for lots more of this awesome family in the weeks to come!!

Little Miss Sunshine

Meet Baby H, who the rain literally stopped for!  This little one is so adorable, but what's even better is her laugh!!  She has such an adult laugh it could easily brighten anyone's day!  No wonder it stopped raining...even the sun wanted to smile a little for her!!

"Hope-ing" for the rain to stop!

This afternoon I did a shoot with a darling 13 month old!  While we were forced to take many on the screened-in porch, we were lucky enough to have the rain let up for just long enough to get out in the grass!!  While I work on getting those posted, I thought I'd give you a look at her big brothers session several years ago!!

I haven't figured out why, but this is one of my favorite 'mommy' pics ever!
