Baby M

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing a good friend of mine's adorable daughter!! Each time I do it seems like we can't get any smiles out of her; then when I get home, I find so many awesome ones that it's hard to choose which ones to post!!

Enjoy!

Mungus

I got home from my shoots this evening still wanting to take more pics! Luckily, Joe & I have a new puppy that I hadn't "officially" shot yet, so I took him outside for his first session! He's full of energy and kept trying to lick the camera, but I think I got some pretty cute ones!

So here he is, Mr. HughMungus A.J. Littles, or "Mungus" as we like to call him! He's a three month old Parson Russell Terrier!
Playin in the backyard!

Time to rest!

Weekends of Weddings!

Since I will be shooting weddings this weekend and next, I thought I'd get in the spirit by posting some of my favorite wedding shots!!

Tonight I'm shooting puppies, then baby M!! Look for sneak peaks!!

In December, my brother and (soon to be) sister-in-law blessed our family with Aaden Ryan Vonderschmidt. One day in February I was lucky enough to have an entire day one-on-one with Aaden, and, you guessed it, many pictures were taken!! Here's a few!!

This next one just makes me laugh!! I love silly baby faces!

Happy baby!!

Inaugural Post

So after lots of thinking, I have finally decided to start a blog! I love looking at other photographers' blogs, but have never had my own!

To start off, I'll be posting pictures with the story behind the picture! I've been doing photography for a long time, so they may be old; they may be new!

I hope you all enjoy!

The first picture of the blog is one of my all time favorites. It's such a simple photo, and I think that's what makes it great! My boyfriend Joe and I went to South Dakota in November 2009 to see his grandparents and other family. Most of the days were spent with guys out hunting and the girls cooking, crafting, and shopping. However, I was "allowed" to go hunting with the guys one day!! My gun of choice? My Canon, of course! The result was over 400 pictures, but this one really stood out! It reminds me of a picture that should be in a Cabela's Catalog!!
